CONSERVATION INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The mission of the Lehigh County Conservation District is to protect, conserve and provide leadership for the sustainability of our natural resources.
LCCD offers its Conservation Internship Experience to those interested in gaining experience in our mission and the field of natural resource conservation.
This internship is designed for college or recent graduates majoring in a field of study related to environmental sciences, agriculture, conservation, engineering, communications, and public relations. These paid experiences involve work within the District’s six main programming areas as required. The focal areas include: Water Quality, Watershed Conservation, Agricultural Conservation, Erosion & Sedimentation, Environmental Education, and the Dirt and Gravel Road program.
During the summer of 2019, LCCD is seeking an Outreach and Education Intern to assist with the administration and development of the environmental education program. For more information and an application, please visit the link below.
